Pick one of the twelve classes, a name and colours. The character arrives at the refuge with every spell at maximum level, its class set and two living items offered. The tutorial takes you by the hand from the first screen; it can be restarted at any time from the Esc menu.
Changing your mindClass, colour, sex and name change potions are in the shop. Your equipment, your living items and your honour stay.
The refuge
The refuge is the only map without fighting. It holds the shop, the podium of the ladder's top three, the hunting board and the gates of the arena. It is also where you watch other people's fights: click a fight in the list and follow it live, with the report at the end.
The arena and aggressions
On the arena maps, any player from another faction can attack you, and you can attack them, provided you are within 20 levels of each other. From level 180 the gap drops to 10. Challenges, with no honour at stake, are free below 180.
A won fight gives experience and, on an aggression, honour.
The loser returns to the refuge with all their equipment.
3v3 fights start from the Kolossium, in the refuge.
The four factions
A character picks its faction from the Alignment window. Bonta and Brakmar are the two alignments of the original game; the Mercenaries fight everyone; the Sanguinaires, the fourth faction, are unlocked once per account, with ogrines, when the team puts them on sale. Changing faction resets honour to zero.

Honour and ranks
Honour is earned on aggressions and lost on defeat. It sets your rank, from 1 to 10, and the wings shown around your name plate. Showing your wings means accepting aggressions; folding them costs five percent of your honour. Each faction has its own wings: here are the four factions', rank by rank.

Maging
A right click on an equippable item, from the inventory, opens the forge. The first line is always an AP or MP exo; then the characteristics, as long as the total weight stays under 101 and no line exceeds 11. No rune, no failure, no range exo.
Daily quests
At midnight, three objectives are drawn for everyone. Complete the three and you receive a reward scroll.
The hunting board
Every kill of the month counts, training fighters and forfeits included; only challenges are excluded. The top 10 shows in the refuge and on the ladders page, and everything restarts from zero on the first of the month.
Comfort
Quick equip. One click on an inventory item equips it, a second removes it.
Resistance pets. The Croum and the El Scarador have 26 points to spread across resistances.
Shigekax. Twelve sweets, only one active at a time, counted down outside challenges.
Cosmetic items. A slot under the hat, the cloak, the shield and the pet: the look changes, not the stats.
Voice chat. A button in the fighter bar. Your teammates hear you, your opponents do not.
Rules
One account in game per machine. Training fighters replace multi-accounts.
Any software playing in your place gets the account closed.
Insults are tolerated in the arena, threats and harassment outside the game are not.
A forfeit counts as a defeat, for honour and for the hunting board.
The team's decisions are disputed on the Discord, not in the server chat.
